Candy Necklaces

We hit up Target this morning. They were out of the double carts that we normally use, so we made do with a single cart and the girls took turns riding in the front. Since they were so good I caved at the checkout and bought them their first candy necklaces.

I'm glad the girls loved the necklaces so much because this is the last time they will be having them for quite a while. This is what I turned around to see when we pulled in the driveway...

Tyler looks like a smurf!

A VERY happy one.

Run Daddy Run!

It has been close to a week with no photos of Tyler & Harper (gasp!) We promise to take lots of the girls over the next few days, but to tie everyone over here are some pictures of Dad from the weekend running in his half marathon!

Dad's 2nd Half Marathon
Training for a full Marathon in May

Impressive Finish. 13 Miles in 1:36!

Aunt Kristin also ran in the 5k of the race.

This is Tyler & Harper post workout (running, playing, swinging) last week! They are taking down a peach smoothie while modeling their new kicks! I bet they will get Dad's love for running given how fast they are moving these days.

Got Swings?

Dad hung the swings this weekend & the girls are so excited about it! They each have their own and all mom has to do is push for a perfect afternoon activity.

Swings + Cookies = Very happy Toddlers!

Hello Spring!

We are welcoming the spring weather around here with playdates at the park, walks around the neighborhood & playing outside every chance we get!

Here are some pictures of the girls in our yard this morning...

And just a little peek into the side of Tyler & Harper that you don't see as often... the hair pulling & being not so nice to sissy. They both do it but we normally have a ring leader (not naming names but the pictures speak for themselves if you can figure out who is who!).

Caught on camera! Oops!

Fluffy Hair, Flushed Cheeks

Post- nap the girls wake up feeling refreshed, energized & ready to keep playing until bedtime. Their favorite part about waking up from a long nap is this is the time they get juice. From the nursery to the kitchen they chant "juis, juis, juis" with great enthuaism! My favorite part is their fluffy hair & flushed cheeks.

Scraped Knees & Snakes!

The girls have no fear these days!!! They are all "girl" but recently have become quite the adventurous tom boys. There are scrapes on their knees, dirt on their hands & adventure on their minds! We explored around the nature museum this week & from the pictures you can see how much they loved it...

Where the Wild Things Roam

Tyler & Harper loved running free this past weekend with Honey & Pop. It was super hot so most of their weekend was spent in diapers & shoes. I wonder what they will be down to by the time summer rolls around!

Out & About

We have had a busy past few days! We hit the road for a trip to visit grandparents, great grandparents & friends. Before we left the girls got their first in-home haircut. Aunt Jacquelyn stopped by for a visit & before she left the girls had new do's!

So nice having a hair-stylist in the family!

The girls got bangs.
Aunt J bribes the girls for good behavior with m&m's.
yum!

She loves it as you can see from her big smile!

The big girls can do the slide all by themselves.
