Thunder Road

Dad ran in his second marathon this weekend... Thunder Road! He went in wanting to cut 30 minutes off his time from earlier this year and yep... he did it!

Way to go Dad!

We had the girls 2 Year Check-up this week &

both are happy, healthy toddlers!

Harper weighs 21 1/2 pounds & Tyler weighs 23pounds.

We think Tyler's weight gain on her sister is her "carry me" mentality...

Both are a smidge above 32" tall

Tyler & Harper had their 3rd birthday celebration on their actual birthday... a low key night of cupcakes & pizza... and of course a few gifts!

She was so excited to have her very own. Harper took ownership of both little Cocos that they got for their first birthday (Known around here as Coco & More Coco)! Now that Harper has her Big Coco, she has finally given Tyler back one of the little Cocos. Tyler is now a very happy girl!

Dear Tyler & Harper,

I can’t believe that two years have flown by so quickly. I remember how nervous we were when both of you were finally home. Nervous that we didn’t know what we were doing. Nervous that we may never get to sleep again. Nervous that the all the boxes of diapers wouldn’t last long enough (we were going through 25+ a day)!

Two years later…after one trip to the emergency room, thousands of diapers, one broken arm, one doggie, two cocos, lots of pop pops and plenty of pictures to document it all…it feels like the only thing we are nervous about is time flying by too fast.

You are growing up so quickly and surprising us almost daily with your new words, new faces and new emotions. We look forward to every new day with both of you and watching you grow into beautiful little ladies. We hope you have a great birthday! “Happy to you”!

Today the girls celebrated turning 2 at pre-school with all of their friends! Elle, Lexy, Thomas, Georgia, James, Jack & Madeleine were there to sing to Tyler & Harper.

The festivities have begun.... Tyler & Harper are turning 2! We are ready to celebrate!

The girls celebrated their birthday (round 1) at Honey & Pop's house. Lots of family came to celebrate: Mom, Dad, Grumpa, Libby, Bobo, Mama Lou, Jane, Gigi, Papoo, Aunt Kristin, Honey & Pop were there to start off the fun!

Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

We thought Halloween was a fun holiday... well that has nothing on Christmas! The girls are smitten with Santa! Tyler & Harper sing along to Christmas carols, say "Merry Christmas" and love to spot snowmen, reindeer & Christmas trees around town.

We all went to get our tree and the girls just ran and smiled their way through the lot until we found the perfect tree...
