Nap Time Shenanigans!

There is not a lot of downtime at our house these days... having a best friend sleep a foot away from you can often mean play time instead of nap time! The girls play tea party and sing songs to one another when they are supposed to be sleeping. We recently put a video monitor up in their room so we can see what they are doing. Here is some video footage (not great quality, but you get the idea) of nap time at our house one day this week. This is their "race"... they count to 3 and try to be the first one to jump to the other side of the crib. What fun it must be for them!

We've been busy!

What can I say? We have been busy... that explains the lack of blog posts, but we are planning on getting some pictures of the girls this weekend. The girls have been busy spending lots of time with Mommy doing fun activities. We are trying to get out as much now as we can. Now that it is not so cold we are actually spending a little time outdoors... here are some pictures!

Twice as Nice!

Having two is really easier sometimes... for sure not all of the time, but the girls just adore each other and love their time when it is just the two of them. They chatter back & forth non-stop and burst into laughter constantly. When a new baby comes home, we are still hoping that the girls will continue to be twice as nice! We will see...

25 Months Old

Together Again!

After 5 days away... Daddy is home! The girls are thrilled & Mommy is even happier. Luckily Baby Brother did not make his appearance while Dad was in Mexico with Pop & Uncle Brandon duck hunting. And Mommy survived with the help of Honey & Ebby. Together again and no more out-of-the-country trips planned for Dad until after the newest family member arrives in 15 short days.

Potty Training

We have been playing around with potty training lately... not 100% committing but just testing the waters. So far, not a complete disaster, but definitely not a complete success either. I think we are going to wait until the Spring and let this new baby get settled in before we add another thing to our full plates around here. Either way, the potty training makes for some silly girls... see for yourself!

Baby #3 Update!

Baby #3 is in the homestretch... 3 weeks from today is the scheduled c-section. We are all hoping to have 3 more weeks to get ready & all looks good to make it until January 26th.

Christmas '09 Wrap-Up!

We are getting in the Christmas Spirit around here... 5 days & counting until Santa arrives! The girls know they have to be on their best behavior for Santa to bring bikes down the chimney for them. We have been seeing lots of sharing and hearing "please" and "thank you" a lot!
