Funny Friday

Its been a long week so we have decided to spend the day at home... these 3 sure know how to have fun together. The girls love to have Court sit & play with them. They are very into showing their baby bro what sounds animals make and Court just dies laughing. And the girls are in their own world when they are together playing, it is hilarious to hear what they talk about. Here is their early morning conversation I heard over the monitor this morning:
Harper: "Ty Ty, I am awake are you awake?"
Tyler does not answer so Harper asks again and Tyler finally answers, "Yes, I am awake. Just a little awake, not big wake" then Harper says "Ok, peace out." Thank you Aunt Jacquelyn for their new lingo.

Court in the jumperoo
He has not quite gotten the hang of jumping in it yet.... the girls were jumping through the roof at this age. Court is very chill, not into moving very much yet. Good for Mommy!

Hey Mommy!

Early morning playtime in Court's crib....

Hmm, its not even 11am and the girls have already had 2 popsicles, they are still in their pj's and I just overheard a conversation about teaching Coco to go pee pee in the potty. Better go!

Life & Loss

I have been back & forth about when to blog again.... just yesterday we lost a dear, dear friend after a courageous, dignified, and graceful fight against cancer at the age of 29. Neil was such a fortunate person to have loved, and to be loved by, so many. We will miss her dearly. She adored our blog and checked it often so this one is for her...

We have been out & about on the town lately... nothing too exciting, just life. Life with 3 kids 2 1/2 and under is wild, exhausting & so rewarding. The girls are at a great age where each day is filled with laughs, funny stories, lots of telling on each other and some sweet hugs & kisses for mom, dad & baby court.

Recently the girls spent the day with Aunt Jacquelyn & Uncle Buck... the girls think they are super cool. These two have taught the girls things, lots of things that Mom & Dad would not have even considered teaching them, one being skateboarding....

And somehow there are no pictures of the little guy on the camera... that is probably because he is always in the baby bjorn on mommy. He loves the view & is still just as chill as he always has been, but with added high pitch squeals now. He loves to hear himself. It is precious!

Dinner Party

We go over to Ebby & Poppy's for dinner on Monday nights a lot... the girls love to play there and have special strollers, jewelry & baby dolls to play with. Ebby cooks, Mommy & Daddy get to relax and drink a little wine and we rush out the door in time for quick baths and bed.

A Visit

The girls ask to go visit daddy at work all of the time... every time they see a big building they say "daddy work." So the girls worked their magic (since Daddy is wrapped around their little fingers!) and we planned a lunch date.

Daddy & his crew

And we had another fun visit this week...
Grumpa & Libby came to town for lunch.
Quite the handful these days!

The Morning View

Rise & Shine!
3 little kids ready to eat.

Harper, Court & Tyler
Looks like we are running out of space!

A typical morning.... chaos!
Wild Hair, squeals, milk chugging.
"Mommy Court touched me..."
"Mommy Harper is eating Court's puff's"
"Mommy, Mommy, Mommy"

Look who is pretty excited to be joining his sisters!
Court has just started eating puffs &
loves to be included in the morning chaos.
And he cut his first tooth!

Lights, Camera, Action!

Live & in action... our kids today!

Don't get too excited, not the best footage, but it works.
Girls are singing "Jesus Loves Me" with lollipops in their mouth, of course!

And here is Court's voice... he is back & squealing just as loud as his big sissies!

6 Months

Court is 6 Months old... hard to believe! He is such a sweet baby boy & got a great report from the doctor today. He "talked" it up the whole appointment, batted his long lashes and was called a "big flirt" by a few of the nurses. I think those chubby cheeks is what seals the deal.

Court, 6 Months
Almost 17 pounds
Almost 26" long (yea, up from the 10th to 3oth percentile!)

At 6 Months...
Court you: sit well, wiggle your toes all of the time & laugh at them moving, babble & "talk" all of the time again (yea for tubes!), eat baby food twice a day, love sweet potatoes (your fav!), cuddle with your dinosaur rattle at night, sleep great (12+ hours at night and 2 good naps a day), are so easy going, have no teeth but are a drooling boy for sure, love splashing in the water and are our most favorite little boy in the world!!!

In other news...
Aunt Jacquelyn squeezed Court in for his first haircut... a little shape up & a trim off the ol' toupee... he was on a fast track to have his sister Tyler's famous combover, so we had to intervene. Mom did not have her camera on her (gasp!) but luckily Meriwether was in the salon & took some cute phone shots...

Cool Kid!

Session 2

Camp Honey-Pop opened up for an unplanned session 2 this week since Court had his surgery. The girls could not have been more thrilled. We went to drop the girls off and Court enjoyed being a part time camper for a few hours. He is looking forward to next summer when he can join in on the fun too.

Aside from being a grandmother, Honey is also a montessori school teacher. So session 2 involved some learning for the girls...

A Whole New World!

Court had surgery to have tubes put in his ears this morning... ironic since he has never had an ear infection, but there was fluid behind both ears that the doctors thought was causing some hearing loss. We could not have asked for things to go better. An easy going boy this morning and a check plus from the pediatric audioligist on his hearing. We are relieved to have this behind us & can't wait for Court to experience this whole new world in sound.

Straight snoozing

He woke up & fussed when we arrived in recovery then fell back asleep on Mommy and is currently home still sleeping on Mommy. We can't wait for him to wake up and hear the chaos of our house but Mommy is sure loving this little boy snuggle time right now.

Thank you all for your thoughts & prayers for sweet Court!
