Pumpkin Pickin'

What a beautiful fall Saturday. We packed up after the girls soccer game this morning and hit the road for our 5th annual trip to Riverbend Farms to pick pumpkins. There is so much to see and do so we walked in the gate and off Tyler, Harper & Court flew towards the fall fun.

Soccer Stars!

Better late than never!

That seems to be the motto these days.

Going on week 12 of no home and still 3 weeks out so we are in survival mode... but life goes on and our three kids certainly don't miss a beat so here we go....

The girls now have 3 saturday soccer games under their belt but these are photos from their first official game 2 weeks back. They are starting to understand the concept of playing on a team and scoring against the other team. Pretty fun to watch.

Junior Soccer

Officially a soccer mom to 3 kids.

But when did they go from 4 to 14 years old?

Tyler & Harper are in "real" soccer 

with real games and real soccer shoes and real shin guards.

Wonder if baby bro is just a tad jealous?!?!

So now that school has started, after school activities are in full swing. Thinking we may have over booked ourselves a bit but the kids are loving all of the non stop fun. I am constantly driving from one place to the next... dropping one off, cheering one on, changing ballet slippers to soccer cleats and I would not change a thing.

We all survived.

A few tears by a precious little brother who was devastated to realize his sisters were not in his class but  the tears dried quickly. Everyone was all smiles when Mom came to pick up. A great day!

Its that time of year again.... meeting the teachers before the exciting first day back at school that is just a few days away!

So excited to start the new year and already picking out their own unique outfits and insisting on brushing their own hair... Growing up!

This is going to be a pretty amazing year for these two girls!

And yes we have been MIA lately and the blog posts have become far & few between but we are approaching week SEVEN of not having a home base. And we are a few more weeks out from the new house being ready. So bear with us... hopefully life will return to normal in the next few weeks once we get into our new home & finally get settled and actually get to unpack then the blog posts will happen more often!!!

Its a Zoo out there!

We sure did pick a HOT day to visit the NC Zoo for the first time. Despite the heat and constant requests to be carried, we all had a great time checking out the animals.
