Imaginations Running Wild

On a whim we decided to pack up Saturday morning for a fun day at Discovery Place Kids. A little bit of a drive but completely geared at kids Tyler, Harper & Court's age so we decided to see what it was all about.... The minute we walked in I knew we would be there for hours. Such a fun day filled with lots of smiles and a place where their imaginations ran wild!

Court at the water table

Harper driving the boat, practicing up for this summer!

Tyler grocery shopping. A job she takes very seriously!

In the ambulance taking care of the patient.

Tyler checking out Daddy's blood pressure.

Picking apples.

Harper in the chicken coop!

Yep, he was in heaven! Splash, splash, splash.

The 2 monkeys in polka dots going up to the top.

Court driving the tractor.

Harper cooking up lunch.

Tyler getting in on the water table action.

Exploring the submarine.

Totally worth the 25 minute drive just to have Court happy as a clam contained in a chair for over an hour splashing to his heart's content. We will be back!

Keeping Busy!

We have been keeping busy! Busy at life with 3 kids, it certainly never stops. We are having a great time and Court is more enamored with his cool big sisters every day. He follows them as fast as he can crawling like a mad man to keep up. Its pretty sweet to watch the three of them together. Harper likes to sing to him. Tyler likes to cuddle with him. He is a pretty lucky guy with two wonderful big sisters.

Busy.
Hmmm.... who is a little behind on pictures?
Over 1,000 pictures to label and put in kids albums.
(and this is only 3 months worth)
November & December pictures have not even arrived yet. HELP!

Court's last bottle of formula.
We have been 24 hours on just whole milk in bottles.
Now lets see if we can get rid of the bottles before he turns 1 in 9 days. Sippy Cup boot camp is coming up

I love when I can catch them holding hands and doing sweet things together.

Monumental day here...
All of our kids wore jeans for the first time.

Smile pretty & we will give you a gummy bear.

Alright... back to labeling photos!

Breaking Free...

After a few days of being housebound by the ice & snow and spending our days in pj's, the ice has finally started to melt & we are breaking free! Mommy was starting to have a breakdown with the amount of Beauty & the Beast we watched, the ridiculous amount of toys that were everywhere in the house and the number of times we played grocery store.

The snow tent... lazy days!

Now that it is time to enter the real world again, kids have to get dressed. This morning I told the girls they could pick out whatever they wanted. They both went straight for their new Christmas cardigans... they put them on and proudly said "I look cute in Tory Burch!" Why yes you do girls, poor Daddy.

"I look cute, do you look cute?"

Cheese. We have got to work on this!

And now some Court sweetness...
Hi there!

I am the happiest kid in the world!
Especially now that I was actually let out of the house for the first time since Sunday.
What a long week. Pretty excited tomorrow is Friday!

Snow, Snow & more Snow!

So far this winter we have had a TON of snow! It was pretty great the first few times but after time & time again of getting 3 kids bundled up to go out and play for a little while then to come back in and thaw out only long enough for them to want to go back out again, we are all dreaming of spring days. Hoping these will be our last snow photos until next year, fingers crossed! The kids sure did not mind waking up to 5+ inches of snow though...

Good Morning, hello Snow!

Winter Wonderland

The girls had good friend Carson's 3rd Birthday party this weekend. A Princess Winter Wonderland. Maybe a little prelude to the winter weather headed our way!!! The girls were super excited to get to wear dress up clothes to the royal party. Tyler chose Cinderella & Harper was Pink Princess Barbie.

Cinderella all ready for the party!

A real princess doing magic for all the princes & princesses!

Face Painting.

Harper & Mary Brooks.
Hmm, who has had some sugar?

Tyler & Harper, pizza time.

Happy 3rd Birthday Princess Carson!

Little bro stayed home with Daddy and made extra loud music by slamming the baby gate. His favorite trick these days.

Q & A with T & H

The girls literally talk from the moment they wake up until they fall asleep. Its a solid 12-14 hours of straight talking, singing, laughing & being silly. Almost every morning Mommy & Daddy wake to Harper's sweet melodies which are usually a few songs combined into one and she sings loud enough to wake up her sister, then Court then the dog. We don't know how the girls do not get sick of one another because they NEVER separate and talk to each other all day long, but they are the best of friends and hate to be apart.

Did a short Q & A with the girls earlier... age 3 is such a sweet age (well, most of the time!)

A New Year

Its a new year! 2011 is sure to be a fantastic year. Lots of happy things are on the calendar. Court is turning ONE, Aunt Kristin is getting married, Aunt Jacquelyn is having a little girl, beach trips, baby steps, the list could go on...

We are still recovering from the holidays. Enjoying lazy days at home. The girls amaze us every day with the things they know & remember. Constantly singing & pretend play of grocery shopping & Target trips with their shopping carts. Court is moving around, pulling up, smiling and is in constant conversation with himself babbling up a storm.

Some photos from today to hold the grandparents over until Mommy gets motivated to get blogging again....

Harper doing a puzzle.

Tyler drawing a picture.

Court pulling up. Loving all his new Christmas trucks.

And, bliss.... a forced nap actually allowed Mommy 20 minutes of free time during daylight hours.

Happy New Year!
