Its just Mommy & Court for the week!

The girls are off at "Camp Honey" & Court is getting lots of attention & smooches from Mommy. I had no idea how easy having ONE baby was. We miss the girls but they will be back soon.

Court is busy getting into all of his sisters' toys. He is loving their bears. He is honestly the happiest baby. Everyone from the carpet cleaners to the ladies at the stationary store comment on how happy he is. New this week is sticking out his tongue. When people say, "Oh look how cute. Sweet smile." He just sticks out his tongue at them and smiles a goofy grin. Cute Court. He is going to get out of trouble pretty easily with that sweet smile.

Today is also Daddy's birthday. The big 3-2! Happy birthday to the best dad in the world.

Lake

We went to the lake to celebrate Honey & Daddy's birthdays (a little early) over the weekend. Lots of fun. The girls love the lake and are little water bugs.

Happy 4th! A fun day. Red, White & Blue. Sno-Cones, Cotton Candy, Ice cream Sundaes. Too bad the girls & Court are fast asleep before any fireworks started... maybe next year!

The girls woke up today with one thing on their mind... cupcakes! I promised them that they could help decorate some for Poppy's birthday. They loved it. Only a few sneaky dips in the icing and a few sprinkles slipped into their mouths. Court watched in amazement & licked his lips. That kid would devour a cupcake in a second if he was allowed.... soon enough little guy!

Going Green

I consider us a fairly "green" family... we do as much as we can. We use safe cleaning products, chemical free kid shampoos & soaps, try to eat organic when we can and recycle like crazy. But there are just some things you can't control... like when Aunt Jacquelyn shows up with fun bath fizzies that dye your bath water crazy colors. So we went "green" tonight...

Discovery!

We took a family trip to Discovery Place over the weekend... an impromptu last minute decision but super fun. It was the grand opening of their new exhibits & it was packed... did not know this when we planned our trip. Thank goodness Daddy was there to help because 3 kids, a big crowd, lots of wild toddlers around and a baby boy who needed to eat baby food & have a bottle while we were there would have been all but impossible to handle solo. We survived. Court was covered in food head to toe, the girls were soaking wet from the water table and Mom & Dad were tired, but we will definitely be going back again this summer. A great cool indoor activity to beat the heat.

Bye Bye Beach!

We have wrapped up our first beach trip of the summer... it was a blast! The girls are the perfect age for the beach this year. They loved every minute of it & I am afraid we are done with naps for good. 10 days without a nap and early bed time seems to suit the girls these days... mom & dad not so much! We are already looking forward to heading back to the beach in just a few weeks.

Berry Pickin'

Still at the beach, but took a break from the sand & surf for a little local treat... blueberry & blackberry picking! Girls were all about filling their buckets up to the top. It was close to 100 degrees but well worth the fun.
