Strawberry Pickin'

Tyler & Harper had their first trip strawberry pickin' this week & what a fun time it was! It was really muddy but that seemed to make the experience even more fun for the girls.

Kissing the big strawberry!

Off to find the berries.

Tyler LOVED it! She knew just what to do.

Harper was busy finding just the right ones!

Tyler's basket is getting full.

Looks good!

Off to find more.

Harper can't resist...

...and takes a big bite! Yummy!

Comparing berries!
Tyler's basket was almost full while Harper ate most of hers.

We had just enough to make a strawberry pie

Warm Welcome

When I tell the girls Ebby is coming over to see them,
this is what they do....

Run to the front door & on their tippy toes
they look patiently out the windows until they see her coming!

Then laughter erupts & big smiles when she arrives.

We had such a great mini vacation. 4 days away from the girls was the longest we have been apart but Tyler & Harper did just fine and had a great time with Ebby, Big Poppy, Aunt Jacquelyn & Uncle Buck. And their parents loved having some time to sit on the beach with friends!

The girls had a playdate with sweet Jane, went to feed the ducks, ate out for lunch and dinner a bunch, hit up the grocery store for goodies and played inside some because of all the rain.

We are glad to be home now & spending time with our little girls again. We sure did miss them!

Bon Voyage!

The parents are off for a 4 day getaway... sans kiddos!
Tyler & Harper seem pleased.

Wish Ebby, Big Poppy, Aunt Jacquelyn & Uncle Buck luck!

Tag Along Trip

Daddy had a work trip so all his girls decided to tag along! Great idea, right? Not really! Sleeping in the cribs at the hotel proved to be quite a disaster. Screaming & Crying from 1-4 am each night caused us to cut the trip short and head home around midnight last night. Besides the sleeping arrangements the trip was really fun & the girls loved having extra time to play with Daddy!

First night sleeping in a hotel!

Harper (L) & Tyler (R)

They would lean across and give each other kisses & hold hands

Loved their cribs being so close!

Right as we arrived at the beach a cold front moved in & our plans of days in the pool & running on the beach were quickly replaced with indoor activities.... SC Aquarium was the first stop.

The girls were mesmerized by the fish!

Tyler & the jellyfish

Harper & her own reflection, looking at the sting rays

Next stop the SC Children's Museum...

The girls loved drawing on the easel!

Tyler blowing the bubbles

Tyler & Harper in the giant bubble... loved it!

Harper playing peek-a-boo

We may not be invited back next year with Daddy but the girls had a blast despite the sleep deprivation.

Quack Quack!

On Saturday we had a family fun day that started out with going to the park to feed the ducks. The ducks would get really close and Tyler & Harper just laughed and said "quack quack" to them.
