Daddy is Home~

Well, we survived a week without Daddy! It was long, but we managed & are now so happy that he is back. Everytime an airplane flew overhead the girls said "Daddy air air" and Harper can now spot an airplane in the air before we even hear it.

Dad referenced this happening before the girls were even born!

The girls have not left Daddy's side since his return!

In babyland news... baby #3 is doing great. We had a little check up this week & mommy's tummy was already measuring a week ahead (guess all of the current cravings: bagels with cream cheese, sweet potatoes & candy corns are going somewhere). The heartrate was 140 was according to old wives tales means a Boy, but we will see! If I remember correctly we had a few appointments with Tyler & Harper where they were 140 or less... so I guess we will all just have to wait and see!

"Oss" Cast

Miss Tyler had become a little celebrity in the hallways at school. Kids stopped her to look at her cast and she proudly showed it off. But those days are over (and I think Harper is the most excited about it!) because the cast is "oss"! That is what Tyler says... "oss cast, oss cast, oss cast!" (translation off cast).

Brave Tyler didn't even flinch with the loud noise
& saw coming at her arm!

Doggie & "pappie" (passie) were there to make it ok!
Tyler saw some of her friends with a passie the other day
so she now thinks it is what cool kids do & likes to do the same and show off.

And there is that beautiful arm we have been missing!

Miss Harper came along to see what all of the fuss was about... she even tried on the old cast then they both proudly dumped it in the trash and said bye bye to the nice doctor! We are really hoping this is our one and only cast experience.

To celebrate the girls had their first bubble bath together in almost a month... they were in there for about an hour!

Bubbles, Baby Boogie & Boo!

Over the weekend we had some visitors... Grumpa & Libby came to town to see the girls. We packed a lot of fun into a short amount of time. Tyler showed off her bubble blowing skills, the girls twirled & tapped at Baby Boogie and they got ready for Fall in their new Halloween dresses Libby made them. We are working on saying "trick or treat" in time for the big day at the end of this month, they have "ghost", "pumpkin" & "boo" down!

Tyler blowing bubbles with Uncle Buck!

Harper had more fun with stickers.
She has been watching sissy blow bubbles for 6 months
& hasn't quite mastered the skill quite yet.
Soon though, we are getting close!

Grumpa blows bubbles for Coco!
Anything for Coco or Doggie is always a hit.

Tyler is still at it. She could blow bubbles for hours.

Off to dance with Grumpa & Libby!

The girls are ready for Baby Boogie!

Too cute!

While all of this fun was going on at home, Dad was busy doing this...
Finishing up a 16 mile run across the Golden Gate bridge in San Fran! He is out there for work but all the girls understand is Daddy is on an airplane. Hurry home Daddy!

22 Months Old!

Tyler & Harper are 22 Months Old Today!!!
These days the girls are all about talking, talking, talking. We think it is a combination of starting school & this age, but most of the time Tyler & Harper are a
ble to tell us what they want. They speak with 2-3 words grouped together and are always excited when they learn a new word!

Over the weekend Tyler & Harper went to their best friend Mary Brooks' 2nd Birthday party! The whole way there they talked about eating cake. And now they have been singing Happy Birthday to each other since we left. These girls are all about a party!

Fall is Here!

Fall is here & the girls are settling right into their new routine! Tears at pre-school are a distant memory and Tyler & Harper are really enjoying their new school friends & their teachers. We spend the week juggling activities of dance, art, storytimes & playdates with friends. Every once in a while we spend an afternoon at home & lately the weather has been so nice we will just hang out in the backyard.

Festival In The Park

The girls hit up Festival in the Park this morning for some fun with Mommy! When Mom wasn't chasing two toddlers around, a few pictures were snapped. The girls rode their first rides and had their first corn dogs... welcome to childhood!

Riding in the "air-pwane"

Yea for Jumpy castles.

No fear!

Tiny Dancers!

Tyler & Harper started dance class this week & loved it! I think these two were born to be in the spotlight. When they were not watching themselves in the mirror they were looking around to see who was looking at them! Little stars!

Off to Dance!

Getting excited about going to class!

Getting into it now!
A toddler dance class is not very structured....

Bows, Bows, Bows!

Where did our little girls go that refused to wear bows? They are no where to be found these days, because these girls are finally all about bows, bows, bows! And Mom loves it!

Another Race, Another Win!

This weekend Daddy & the girls ran in the Race for Fetal Hope. And Daddy won in his age group while pushing a double stroller! Seems like Tyler, Harper & Daddy make a great team!!!

Dad & the girls in the way back...

Go Dad Go!

Another strong finish!

The girls have become great stroller riders when they go fast!
New words after going with Daddy to all of these runs are
"Race", "Fast" & "Win"

Tyler enjoying some cotton candy!
She has already adjusted to just using one hand
& seems to be on the path for a speedy recovery.

Miss Harper!
She made a big "mess" with her cotton candy.

Going up to get their 1st place medal!

Way to Go!!!
Another race, another win!
Seems like we have set the girls expectations pretty high from the beginning!
